CNF Holiday Schedule
CNF Users and PIs:

The CNF cleanroom will close for the Holidays at 1 PM on December 24th to allow time for staff to power down and secure tools for the break. During the shutdown, the CNF CAD room will be available (computers will be powered off to conserve energy), but the offices and all lab spaces will be closed.

The cleanroom will re-open with limited tool availability at 9 AM on Friday January 2nd. This is a Cornell vacation day (staff will not be available) and the lab will operate with a weekend/holiday buddy policy. Some tools may not be powered up or heated up until the following Monday. Please check the equipment status board for tools that are available for use. The remaining tools will be brought on line on Monday January 5th and should be operational once they stabilize - check the tool status for availability.

Limiting Use of CNF Lab During CNF TCN, January 14-16
Dear CNF Users:

The CNF clean room demonstrations are an integral part of the CNF short course, Technology & Characterization at the Nanoscale. Therefore the 30 CNF TCN participants will be in the clean room the afternoons of January 14-16, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 1:30-5pm each day.

You may want to consider avoiding the clean room on those afternoons.

On the up-side, come to Swanson Atrium at 1:15pm each of those days and see if there is any lunch left for non-participants!

Thank you for your kind consideration.
