Acknowledging the CNF and including our NSF grant number is CRITICAL to our continuing to be your research facility. We cannot stress this enough.

Formal publications require a statement acknowledging CNF and NSF support. For all papers, simply copy and paste in the following acknowledgement:

This work was performed in part at the Cornell NanoScale Facility, a member of the National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure (NNCI), which is supported by the National Science Foundation (Grant NNCI-2025233).

If space is a concern, this can be significantly shortened to:

This work was performed in part at the Cornell NanoScale Facility, an NNCI member supported by NSF Grant NNCI-2025233.

Again, it is CRITICAL to include our full and correct NSF grant number.

In presentations, listing the Cornell NanoScale Science & Technology Facility along with your other acknowledgements will suffice. If you have room for our logo on your final slide, all the better!

On posters, please include our logo (below) and list the Cornell NanoScale Science & Technology Facility along with your other acknowledgements.

Finally, in papers, presentations, and posters, if CNF staff made significant contributions to the success of your research (above and beyond training), we also require their recognition by including their full name in your acknowledgments.

We thank you for your efforts. The acknowledgement you include today means we will still be here for you tomorrow!
