A new version of BEAMER based on the https://www.qt.io/ development framework has been installed and can be started by typing beamer7 instead of beamer. It should be functionally the same as previous versions, but the user interface is different. Hover the mouse cursor over the left column to see modules, and hover over modules to see run and view buttons.
