| AFS FileServer Maintenance - Tues 10AM | We will be rebooting one of our AFS fileservers between 10AM and 11AM Tuesday May 5 for an important security update. We expect actual downtime to be no more than 15 minutes. Only one fileserver is rebooting and only users with data on that particular fileserver will be affected. |
| Lab Transfer Share Access Problems | Problems writing to folders on the Lab Transfer Share appear to be resolved. Please email cnf-computing (at) cornell.edu if you run into additional problems... include which folder, from which machine, and when. As a workaround to the lab transfer share not being available on CNF Windows general use workstations, use WinSCP to connect to remote.cnf.cornell.edu and you will find the lab transfer share on the "remote" remote.cnf.cornell.edu system as the top level folder: cnflab |
