The Cornell Ithaca Campus is at COVID Alert Level Green - Cloth masks on their own no longer meet Cornell standards for protection.

External Users and Cornell Community Required to be immunized and boosted, when eligible

The safety of our staff and users is very important to us; any disregard for the new procedures and protocols will lead to an immediate suspension from our facilities.

Outdoors on Campus

  • Face masks not currently required under most circumstances.

Indoors all Campus Buildings

  • In general masks are not required but approved masks are required in ALL CNF lab spaces and class room settings.

User Lab Access

In the Lab...

  • 3 ft social distancing required during individual staff tool trainings, and when project team members are working together for project shadowing or learning opportunities
     
  • Face coverings of surgical grade required at all times in CNF lab spaces
     
  • Safety glasses required at all times.

Vendors, Visitors, and Equipment Maintenance Personnel

 

Remote Computing Resources

CAD Rm

  • Reopened as of November 5, 2021 to approved CNF users.
     
  • No tailgating... each user must individually badge in and out
  • Face coverings required at all times regardless of vaccination status
  • No food or drink
  • Wipe down keyboard, mouse, and computer table area before and after use

CNF Offices

  • Currently closed to non-staff (office doors are locked)
     
  • Please call the main CNF number, 607-255-2329, for assistance
     
  • Users may meet with staff in other areas of the building
